Criteria for Using the Toyota Halo Driver App
The Toyota Halo Driver app, available on the App Store/Google Play Store, allows drivers to assign themselves to vehicles. The following criteria must be met for self-assignment:
- The Fleet Manager must have listed the driver as available for the vehicle.
- The vehicle must be tagged as a “Pool” vehicle.
- The driver must be within 2 km of the vehicle.
- The vehicle must be stationary (not moving).
- The vehicle must have communicated with Halo within the last 6 hours.
Note:
- Work/personal trip classifications for logbooking can only be done via the desktop platform.
- A ‘System Admin’ cannot simultaneously be assigned as a ‘Driver’
- Once a driver is assigned to a vehicle, the Driver App will only display the option to ‘Unassign’ themselves from the vehicle.
