Your Toyota Halo account comes with a pre-made Workflow for receiving Geofence notifications.
This workflow is titled: Geofence Alert
To find this workflow, navigate to the 3 dots > Workflows

Find and open the workflow titled Geofence Alert
You’ll notice a few things about this workflow:
- The yellow listen node is set to listen for Geogfence Entry and Geofence Exit events.
- The orange true/false node is set to divert the settings whether a geofence entry event was recorded as true or false
- If true (geofence entry recorded true), the black geofence entry delay node is set to delay the notification by 1 minute, to ensure the vehicle isn’t just passing through.
- The following orange weekday entry node is set to only send a notification on a Monday through Friday, outside the hours of 7am to 6pm Melbourne time
- The following blue notification nodes are the notification settings. Click the pencil icon on these nodes to adjust who receives the notification, and what the message says.
- You can also delete any notification node if that particular notification is not needed by clicking the bin icon.
- If false (geofence entry recorded false), then it must’ve been a geofence exit event, as the yellow node was only listening for 2 possible events (geofence entry and geofence exit).
- The following orange weekday entry node is set to only send a notification relating to a geofence exit on a Monday through Friday, at anytime.
- The following blue notification nodes are the notification settings. Click the pencil icon on these nodes to adjust who receives the notification, and what the message says.
- You can also delete any notification node if that particular notification is not needed by clicking the bin icon.
- If true (geofence entry recorded true), the black geofence entry delay node is set to delay the notification by 1 minute, to ensure the vehicle isn’t just passing through.

To start receiving notifications for this workflow, simply turn the status to on:

Tip: You can also add a filter for which Geofence this workflow applies to, by editing the yellow listen node to add an event filter for Fence ID Equals.

You can find the Fence ID by opening the Geofence Full Details in Halo and copying the number from the end of the URL.
In this case, the Fence ID is 35:
