Potential collision events are triggered when sensors detect a significant force on the vehicle. These events are logged in the breadcrumb report.
Under some circumstances, such events may be reported in error. For example, if a door is slammed with enough force to move the vehicle, a potential collision could be reported. This could happen after the ignition is turned off, causing events that might not immediatley make sense (given you’d usually expect a collision to occur when the vehicle is being driven).
Whilst not always resulting in damage to a vehicle, such events may still be useful to fleet managers as they provide an insight into driver behaviour, considering the force needed to trigger such events.
