In Toyota Halo, speeding is detected when a vehicle travels at a speed above a preset amount. This amount can be set and modified within Workflows.
To change your speeding threshold, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Workflows
- Open the default Speed Alert workflow
- In the Listen for Speed node, look for the pencil icon to edit
- Here you can configure at what speed you’d like Halo to record a speeding event. This will impact all vehicles, however you can add event filters as required if needed. Click Save.
Customers usually set this to 115km/h as vehicles often travel on roads up to 110km/h
- Be sure to change the status of this workflow to green so that it is turned on
