Halo uses Postman to enable you to configure data feed for your organisation. The full documentation is available when you subscribe to the Data Feed Plan.
This guide assumes you are familiar with your fleet management system at a technical level and are able to update your code with Halo’s API requests.
If you do not have a postman account, you’ll need to create one. Click the RUN IN POSTMAN link at the top right of the screen to get started
Once you have set up your postman workspace, select ‘Basic Auth’ from the authorisation drop down
Next, enter your Halo login credentials
Start a new data request by clicking the ‘plus’ icon
Select a data request from the list and build a URL in the URL box
Ensure the Halo URL is resolved
Hit the Send button to generate your code
From here you can extract the code for integration into your fleet management software
